RUSSELL TOVEY - No.114

2006 Russell Tovey had to play totally against type in the stage play and movie adaption of The History Boys. This normally sensitive lad had to play an almost monosyllabic rugger boy. In the movie Rudge (Russell Tovey) is the odd one out amongst the boys, a brilliant sportsman but less gifted intellectually. Even Rudge, is endearing and his definition of history as "one fuckin' thing after another " is certainly a definition likely to be borrowed by many.
