"Broadway Bares" is produced by Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, executive produced by Tony Awardâ-winner Jerry Mitchell (Hairspray, La Cage Aux Folles) and directed by Denis Jones (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels). Food was supplied by Tony's DiNapoli Times Square.

Highlights from this year's "Broadway Bares 16" included: Cyndi Lauper (Threepenny Opera) performing a moving rendition of her hit "True Colors," then opening her overcoat to reveal pasties and a phallus; Sara Gettelfinger (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels) performing the shows opening number "New York Strip," which was penned by Gary Adler (Altar Boyz); and Barrett Foa (Avenue Q) and Matthew Rannells (Hairspray) providing comic relief as "Chip" and "Chip" a young gay couple from the Midwest visiting New York for the first time.
