RUSSELL TOVEY - No.177

James Corden said that Russell Tovey couldn't get through one particular scene involving Chinese Allan, so they just had to leave it in the final cut of the show. If you have Gavin and Stacey on DVD this scene is in season 2 when they take Gavin out on the town to the foam-disco - sure enough Russell keeps his head down and he corpses.

The next 3 shots are Russell here in Australia dancing aboard a motorboat not far from the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House. It was in 2006 I first saw Russ in The History Boys at the Sydney Theatre. I figure this was in his pre-tan days!

The next screen cap is Rusty being Josh Palmer in Silent Witness.

Russ being a cute George Sands.

The next three screen caps are Russell and Sinead Keenan doing a lovely moment from Being Human. The screen chemistry is palpable. I could actually believe these two were real lovers and I think that is because like people in real life their characters were allowed to be friends first and built their relationship from that. The same goes for all four leads in Being Human. The show's gay following could see the potential for boys going to the next level or the girls etc because the characters have some kind of sexual interplay and interdependency that other shows just don't have...talk about well written, eh?

After a hard days night...yes, what the Beatles didn't know was that was the perfect line for George in Being Human.
It's been a hard day's night, and I've been working like a dog...
