Don't Quit Your Night Job

On September 28th 2006 at Joe's Pub NY, Steve Rosen (Monty Python's Spamalot), Sarah Saltzberg (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and David Rossmer (Fiddler on the Roof), in conjunction with Joe's Pub, presented the third installment of "Don't Quit Your Night Job," a monthly comedy benefit featuring a revolving cast of Broadway and Off Broadway's brightest stars performing without a net.

The show was an evening of improv, music, original sketch comedy and backstage anecdotes all to benefit Wendy Wasserstein's Open Doors Initiative.

Among the stars who appeared were: Rosen, Rossmer, Saltzberg, Samuel Anderson (The History Boys), Hank Azaria (Spamalot), Russell Tovey
(The History Boys), James Corden (The History Boys), Lisa Datz (The Full Monty), Asmerat Ghebremichael (Spamalot), Brian D'Arcy James (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Richard Kind (The Producers), Jason Kravits (The Drowsy Chaperone), Michael McGrath (Spamalot), Kelli O'Hara (The Pajama Game), Nicole Parker (Fame Becomes Me, "MadTV"), Greg Reuter (Spamalot), with musical guests: Dan Fogler (Spelling Bee) and Law Tarello (Spelling Bee).

The evening featured musical direction by Dan Lipton, with Sean McDaniel on drums. The show was aided and abetted by People's Improv Theatre Teacher Yang Miller.
