MANNY HANDS MAKE FRIDGE LIGHT WORK

Manny P. Rabbit was settling into the long winter with his new owner Miss Pat. Pat lived in Essex and she knew Russell Tovey the actor who was always being cast as a werewolf. Manny had also recently been watching TV with Miss Pat and spotted Russell in a show about hounds…Manny was impressed that Russell was a human whose acting had gone to the dogs…

But when Miss Pat was not around Manny got very sad and lonely. He had met some of the local rabbits and tried to fit in but he soon learnt it wasn’t easy being green!

He scuttled to different rooms looking for friendship and fun but met a lot of stony silence from the long term residents who lived with Miss Pat.

He tried to be friendly, happy and kind but it didn’t seem to be working. So next he invited people to play games like hide-and-seek but nobody, absolutely nobody, seemed that interested in playing! It wasn’t from lack of offering though.

Eventually, Manny just got fed up and then did what we all do - he turned to comfort food…

Meanwhile, over at Mr Marks’s house in Croydon, Dragonite the little green dragon was having similar issues…
"Drags" had tried being kind to all the others at his house but when you breathe fire and smoke, most people back-off, and your circle of friends becomes very limited…
Dargonite also turned to comfort food…and plenty of it!

If only we could get Dragonite to meet Manny, then things may turn out better for them both....
