In 2002 Russell Tovey played the character Josh Palmer in a double episode of Silent Witness called Kith and Kill. A solid performance from a young twenty-something Russell. It's one of those roles where they needed an innocent looking killer...
Synopsis:
A family are found murdered. Only their teenage daughter survives and she is recovering in hospital. Josh Palmer (Russell) is trying constantly to get into the hospital to to see her. The Silent Witness team solve it by slowly working through the clues to discover young Josh Palmer was responsible. Josh did it for his recovering girlfriend as her parents were not going to allow Josh to see her again. Through more twists than a DNA strand it seems Josh's girlfriend may be his biological sister...are we in Arkansas here?
