In this ever shrinking world in which we live it sometimes amazes me how American audiences don't share the same cultural reference points as those outside the USA. I recently found a conversational podcast about why the character George Sands is called "Bouncer" in season two of Being Human (press play below). As nice as it is the have legendary Oz dog Bouncer thrown into the reasoning, the UK born podcaster might want to think again!
I wonder what the podcast duo made of the other names such as "Digby"? Is that Digby from the movie about the biggest dog in the world or Digby Wolfe the heartthrob actor from my grandma's era? The debate could be endless!!!
