RUSSELL TOVEY - No.753

Ginger Beer

Russell Tovey has a couple of hard-core vices...the least harmful one is Ginger Beer. Back home in Oz I always recommend Bundaberg Brewed Ginger Beer.

Or if you'd like an alcoholic version then it's Blue Tongue which was originally made in my part of Oz - The Hunter Valley.

While here in Scotland today I found another non-alcoholic version which is also excellent...after a quiet drive along Loch Ness we stopped at Fort William for a break. Here I discovered Fentiman's Ginger Beer.

Further to discovering this brand I had a talk to a local whiskey maker about a cocktail known back home in Oz as a "whale's tail"...named after the whale watching area at Bundaberg in Queensland. Its two main ingredients are rum and ginger beer.
