Tom_in_Oz_: @rickedwards1 1) What age did you realise you wanted to get into the media?
rickedwards1: @Tom_in_Oz_ 1. not sure. But it never felt like I'd end up doing a 'traditional job'. Was always too fidgety and attention-seeking.
Tom_in_Oz_: @rickedwards1 2) Who influenced you in your younger years and who did you want to emulate or copy? Or was your style your own?
rickedwards1: @Tom_in_Oz_ 2. I think Iain Lee was the person who made me want to be a presenter. I also really liked Dermot on T4 back in the day.
Tom_in_Oz_: @rickedwards1 3) I know u have a keen sense of humour in ur sometimes silly tweets have u thought of writing a humorous book of any kind?
rickedwards1: @Tom_in_Oz_ 3. I've thought about it, yes. But I don't know if I've got the discipline/talent. I do write short film scripts, though.
Tom_in_Oz_: @rickedwards1 4) Besides being a highly successful novelist (lol) where to next in your career path and your aspirations long term?
rickedwards1: @Tom_in_Oz_ 4. Who knows? I'm trying to work that out at the moment. Hopefully more presenting comes up. I'd love to do radio again...
Tom_in_Oz_: @rickedwards1 5) Has being in politics ever crossed ur mind as I could see you being very energetic and committed if pursuing a good cause?
rickedwards1: @Tom_in_Oz_ 5. It's crossed my mind, yeah. I'd love to do something worthwhile. To help people. But can people take an ex-T4 presenter seriously? I'm not sure.
