OZZIEBEARS’S LAST DAY IN LONDON

As Ozziebear’s visit to London drew to an end, he once more toured the British capital to visit some places his future adoptive father Tom has been to before. It surely would be nice to have a subject to talk about as an icebreaker when Ozziebear first meets Tom in Oz.

Since Tom likes pottery and china, our bear-tourist had to go to the Victoria & Albert Museum to brush up on his arts and crafts knowledge. There are many things Ozziebear learned during his visit to the V&A. Did you know for example, that antique Carlton Ware is rather delicate and shouldn’t be swept off a display stand by a clumsy plush bear? You live and learn!

All good things must come to an end, so Ozziebear said his final good-byes to London at Picadilly Circus. And he bid Mark farewell with a final cuddle. Ozzibear’s trip to London was a fantastic experience and the memories of the places he visited and the people he met will stay in his heart forever. And he will take those memories with him to Newcastle, Australia! :-)

WOW-HOHOHO... hold on... wait a second... Well alright, this whole Ozziebear visits London thingy is a nice little travel report. But how is this a“Christmas Serial”??? There is nothing Christmassy about it... well apart from the exaggerated use of hugs and cuddles. That surely can’t be it! Where is all the sweet and sentimental Yuletide kitsch? When you read “Christmas Serial”, you expect artificial snow and Christmas carols. There wasn’t one Santa in this whole series.  C’mon... there must be some kind of follow-up to this last part, right? Right?? RIGHT???
