Once there was a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who shared a flat in Bristol...they got jobs and lived normal lives, they got a TV license, they watched this show called Being Human about a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost who shared a flat in Bristol...
The following 6 minutes of video is of Russell Tovey in the act of changing into his alter ego the werewolf. The stills are taken from the Being Human Pilot, Being Human Unearthed, series one and series two of Being Human.
Warning!
There is a considerable amount of Russell's bottom and general nudity in this set of screen caps. It's not for children to view.
The song is Bad Moon Rising by Oz band The Reels. It's a rare remix version from my own 12" collection. Well hurry up, press play then.
In my opinion, the reason the UK cast work so well is that they are unlike the Hollywood stereotypes of vampires, ghosts and werewolves that are glamorous, dark, brooding, mysterious etc – this has all been painfully and glossily overdone before.
The whole premise of this show is to do away with that, and I would have thought that the show's title was a dead giveaway and besides it's got comedy that works perfectly for the characters not the situations.
