LAST HURRAHS
It was cold and grey December day in Germany. Christmas was over. Two of the Famous Five, Ozziebear and Barkston T. Mouse, were now waking up in the house of Hamish Hamster and Lady Retriever - the London ex-pats now living in Germany. Hamish’s going away party for Ozziebear had been a triumph! Their friendship was plain to see…Barkston T. Mouse, Lady Retriever, Hamish Hamster and Ozziebear had their special morning bear hug and cuddle.
Ozzie
and Barkston made plans to catch up with their three friends back home but it
had to wait until after breakfast. The friends feasted on flakes but
obviously they didn't pay close attention in German lessons as they
may have chosen a more suitable kind of brekky!
Oz and Barkston really missed their friends Dragonite, Manny and Helmut. So first, they looked up the phone numbers of their friends using the computer but Oz was discombobulated and kept pressing the wrong mouse key.
They eventually got the numbers of their friends. They called and set up a time for all of them to Skype on computer.
New Year celebrations were the big topic for them all. It wouldn’t be long before Ozzie left to live in Australia so the friends knew that their cuddle time was coming to an end very quickly. It made them a little sad but they were also very excited to see their friend Ozzie set off to make his fortune in a new land.
To be continued…
RESPECT MAN
I
have a well respected author who follows the Tovey blog. Michael Bosc is
currently writing and living in Spain. He is really enjoying the serial of the
Fluffy Famous Five and he often sends me and my co-author Tom Markstahler cute
tweets
michaelbosc:
@RussTov_FanSite wow - what next I wonder?
Tom_In_Oz_: Hi @demelza2 you know how you used to be Russell's drama coach well today I found a lovely pic of you and Russell Tovey. You are together surrounded
by kids in a hall.
MarkMMerrett:
@Tom_In_Oz_ @demelza2 would be a nice pic to see!
demelza2:
@Tom_In_Oz_ It was when I was teaching at college, I asked Russ to come to a
class and answer some questions from the students, it was acting class and
being the lovely bloke that he is, he came in for the afternoon - they loved
him. They asked questions about how he got into acting etc. This is about 2 yrs
ago. The students framed the photo for me and gave it as a leaving present x
Tom_In_Oz_:
@demelza2 Is the pic something I
could blog as a story and do you wanna email some other info we cud make it a
little plug for your classes
MarkMMerrett:
@demelza2 @tom_in_oz_ You can guess that he's genuinely lovely by the
fan pics, makes me love him more!
demelza2:
@Tom_In_Oz_ OK - but private tuition is what I do nowadays.
THE LAND OF THE BOGANS
tommacwriter:
As a fashionista with a carefully curated collection of timeless designer
pieces, being in the Northampton Matalan is quite an eye-opener.
Tom_In_Oz_:
@tommacwriter in Oz this statement doesn't translate but is it fair to say
you are in the land of the BOGANS / DAGS as we Ozzies say?
tommacwriter:
@Tom_In_Oz_ I think so
MY FRENCH CONNECTION
LeFouGallois:
@Tom_In_Oz_ hope you had a lovely Christmas, and Santa had a sack full
for you ;)
Tom_In_Oz_:
@LeFouGallois yep I did and yep he did. I put a pic of the goodies on the
Condou blog see heading "Santa Has Been" - charlie-corrie-condou.blogspot.com/2011/12/charli…
LeFouGallois:
@Tom_In_Oz_ oooh, yeah... I see that
your gifts will be keeping you busy for a while! ;)
Above: Russell Tovey and Kerry Howard in a scene from Him & Her Season Two. No, Russell is not really urinating (but it looks like it). He’s working a plastic bladder which sits under his arm and he squeezes liquid down a tube which he holds in his hand. Ah, the magic of television!
