Mark
who lived in Croydon London had stepped out for the day to go and meet Miss Pat and
Andrew for coffee and a movie. Dragonite the green dragon and his fluffy friends watched out the window until Mark was out of sight so they could find their new Christmas presents.
They had been waiting for days for Mark to leave the house…
But
when they scampered over to the tree…Shock! Horror! No presents! They looked
everywhere. When they eventually stopped looking they decided to ask for professional help but the crystal ball seemed to have no answers! So...
...They
went to see Drogonite’s old friend the Dragon Master who was very wise and was
able to tell them about the magic of Santa and point them in the right
direction. The Dragon Master told them they had to climb high into the
Christmas tree…
And
look for the pink reindeer. Pinky Deer could contact Santa on a hot line and
arrange for the furry friends to go to the magical workshop at the North Pole…
They
all wished mighty hard for a chance to see Santa and as luck would have it, Santa magically whisked them away to his workshop.
Santa
was very apologetic about their missing presents he had just become a little
forgetful and had left them in his big red sack. So even though it was a little
late the friends finally had a very happy Christmas in Croydon.
But
over at Manny P. Bunny’s house in Essex things were very different. Manny had watched his
mistress Miss Pat leave for coffee and a movie but Manny had no fluffy friends
to play with unlike Drogonite and Helmut. So, as he was frozen to the bone, he
tried snuggling up to Pat’s dog.
It wasn’t long before Manny was almost bitten
because the dog thought Manny was a chew toy. It's hard making friends with people thought Manny as he ran for his life! Hurriedly he climbed up the nearest mantelpiece and on arriving safely at the top, he found someone to keep him company - an ex-supermodel called Lulu. She wasn’t
particularly fluffy but Manny didn’t mind. *wink*
Meanwhile back
in Germany, while his friends were having adventures in London, dear old
Ozziebear was nestled on Tommy Markstahler's tummy gently going up and down
with every sigh - oblivious to the exciting adventure that lay ahead!

John
Ruskin is an artist, poet, critic, living in the Victorian age but what makes
him become more well-known is a scandal involving his sex life. He married 18
year old Effie Gray. Six years into their marriage Effie files for a divorce. After
the divorce, Effie marries John Eve who was a protégé of John Ruskin. It’s a
tangled web of sexual intrigue that brings them all notoriety in a very prim
and proper time.
